CutGo Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CutGo browser extension, CutGo Studio, Storyboard Desk, related creator tools, websites, and paid CutGo Pro features (collectively, "CutGo"). By using CutGo or purchasing CutGo Pro, you agree to these Terms.
1. The product
CutGo is a video-analysis and editing-assistance product for reviewing media, marking shots, creating stills and storyboards, and exporting user-directed results. CutGo is operated by an independent software creator in China. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the websites or video platforms on which users may run the extension.
2. License and account access
- CutGo Pro is currently sold as a one-time lifetime license for the purchased product version and its supported service, not as a subscription.
- Your entitlement is linked to the email used at checkout. You must sign in with that same email to activate Pro.
- One account may have up to three active browser installations. You may be asked to release an old installation before activating another.
- The license is personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and may not be resold, shared as a service, or used to provide unauthorized access to others.
3. Payments, taxes, and refunds
International payments are processed by Creem as merchant of record. Creem may collect billing information, calculate applicable taxes, and display its own checkout terms and privacy notices. CutGo does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
For billing questions or a refund request, contact tianxp315@gmail.com and include the purchase email and order reference. Requests are reviewed under applicable law and the payment provider's requirements. If a refund is approved, the associated CutGo Pro entitlement may be deactivated. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
4. Acceptable use and copyright
CutGo is intended only for content that users own or are authorized to process. Users must comply with copyright law and the terms of the source platform. CutGo must not be used to bypass DRM, access controls, or download unauthorized copyrighted content.
You must not use CutGo to:
- infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, or other rights;
- circumvent DRM, paywalls, authentication, access restrictions, or technical protection measures;
- obtain, reproduce, distribute, or sell media without the rights or permissions required to do so;
- violate a source platform's terms, applicable law, or a court or regulatory order;
- introduce malware, interfere with CutGo or third-party services, or attempt unauthorized access;
- resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or exploit CutGo except where applicable law expressly permits it.
You are responsible for confirming that you have the necessary rights before processing or exporting any media.
5. AI and third-party services
Some optional features connect to third-party AI or infrastructure providers. When you use your own API key, your request is governed by that provider's terms. When you choose a CutGo cloud feature, the interface explains what is sent before use. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate and must be reviewed by you before professional use.
6. Privacy
Our handling of account, device, analytics, and optional cloud-processing data is described in the CutGo Privacy Policy. Media and project data are generally processed on your device unless you deliberately use a feature that states otherwise.
7. Availability and updates
CutGo depends on browsers, operating systems, websites, codecs, and third-party services that may change without notice. We may update, limit, replace, or discontinue features to maintain security, compliance, compatibility, or product quality. A lifetime license does not guarantee that every feature or third-party integration will remain available forever.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for fraud, chargebacks, unlawful activity, security abuse, material violation of these Terms, or conduct that creates risk for users, CutGo, payment partners, or third parties. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CutGo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every website, or fitness for a particular production workflow. You are responsible for maintaining backups and reviewing exports before relying on them.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CutGo's aggregate liability arising from the paid product will not exceed the amount you paid for CutGo Pro. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss where such exclusion is permitted. Mandatory rights and liabilities that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the product, law, or payment requirements change. The current version and update date will remain available on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the website, product, or release information where appropriate.
